Without giving away too many details, my niece works at a gas station, there was a hit and run. A man was injured and did not live. She comforted him and held him until the ambulance arrived.
She's afraid to ask her boss for a few days off of work.
I'm tempted to call her boss and threaten legal action unless she gets two days off, preferably paid. This is insane right, she held a man until he died. She's very young, not even 20.
The man who committed the hit and run has actually done this before and the owner is aware. Perhaps I could use this as leverage?
I'm looking for serious advice. Not just “work hate”.
