Looking for career advice from those who are more experienced and smarter than me

I'm a 25 y/o anti-capitalist and I see no better way to spend my life than bringing change for the proletariat in the most practical and effective way possible. This is the advice and suggestions which I'm looking for and I've been thinking about this (and what to study at uni) for quite some time. Previously, I thought about pointing myself towards a degree in politics, economics and philosophy but lately I'm gravitating more towards Mechatronics (mixture of software, electrical and mechanical engineering). Have you heard of the concept of “Fully Automated Luxury Communism”? (A concept and book by author Aaron Bastani) I realise that the oligarchs and capitalists will never change and will never give a shit about the suffering masses. Thus I figured that we, the working class may as well help ourselves with the use of automation and technology to liberate ourselves from our dependency of them.…

What if we, the working class kind of made our own democracy/government? For the people, by the people. The whole world in solidarity, regardless of enthnic/national groups (a bit far fetched, I know)

What if the masses crowdfunded to create machines and organisations which provided the basic necessities, benefiting ourselves in the long run? (e.g, renewable electricity, automated farms and factories, etc)

I appreciate your thoughts / criticism in advance.
