I'm in the hush hush phase of unionizing my workplace. I've started by trying to improve employee relations. Anytime I hear somebody talking bad about another employee, I always try to remind them that we are all trying to do the best for the people we love. If somebody calls in, regardless of how believable their alibi is, I make sure no one gives them grief. I started a work group chat with only the employees and no managers to give us a space to just talk about our job and encourage people to leave personal disputes out of it (harder than it sounds). My biggest worry is that some employees have just crazy amounts of loyalty for the bosses (despite not receiving any extra compensation for their dedication) and I don't know what I can do to show them that the bosses don't give a fuck about them. These are people that are in terrible places in life with the sole reason being spending way too much time slaving away for somebody else. How can I show them?
