Loyalty due to training

Just wanted to get some people's opinions on this, am I the asshole type thing. I work as an apprentice mechanic, am almost qualified. Have had a real shit time the last two years, have been super stressed. Vomit most mornings before work, can hardly relax on weekends due to the ever ticking clock before I have to go back to work. Have been on antidepressants and they helped somewhat but they also negatively effected my sex life. Have been thinking about changing professions after my apprenticeship is over but am worried that is going to piss people off. The people I work with are ok, but they have a certain kind of attitude that I don't have. It's basically a hobby for them, everyone is competing with each other, especially the sister dealership, to be the better mechanic. Always shitting on each other, one dealer says the others aren't good mechanics and vice versa. I applied for the job because it was advertised, this job isn't my whole being, and I don't care about about being the best at any particular type of labour. But somehow it feels expected that I should go the extra mile due to some kind of loyalty. The other day I was told that if a job takes 1.5 hours, I should do it in 1 hour. I nodded but also wondered why we don't just book in the amount of work we have time for, instead of overbooking to get more done. I already skip a lot of lunches because people wait for their cars, and it's expected to get it done as quickly as possible. And I also want to get shit done so I don't get in trouble.

I think I would be a lot happier doing something else, but I can understand that me leaving is going to be an issue, as some of the shitty jobs I'm the best at, and can do them fairly quickly. And they said they've been having trouble finding qualified people to work for them. So they aren't going to be happy to have a newly qualified tradesmen leave. I have been trained by them for the last 4 years, and I do appreciate what I've learned, but I also do want to go. Has anyone else felt conflicted about leaving a job after they've trained you? It's seems like a dick move to leave, but I would love to.
