Making the office “Commute Worthy”

LOS ANGELES OFFICE MARKET OUTLOOK LEASING CHALLENGES, ENSURING EMPLOYEE SUCCESS AND MAKING THE OFFICE “COMMUTE-WORTHY” I'm a construction professional working for one of the largest general contractors in the United States. I'm based in downtown LA. I attend conferences for networking and received an email with the above heading. This particular conference is for designers and developers to have a chance to discuss what the market is currently doing. All of us know that these Urban office high-rises are half empty and that the owners are losing out on money. I thought it was interesting that they were going to use the phrase commute worthy. I don't even know what that means. Does this mean daycare? Does this mean little coffee bars? The group seems desperate. What are your thoughts on commute Worthy workspaces?
