To boost morale we had a monthly meeting with the Employee of the Month award with a $50 gift card. After a manager was awarded Employee of the Month because she forgot a detail on a project on a Friday afternoon, had an employee work over the weekend to fix it and the project was saved for the Monday morning pitch. This did not boost morale.
