First post in here and kind of just a rant but –
I’m in charge of organizing a SWOT analysis from my company’s management team regarding our company. We are in an incredibly good spot as a company, +35% in sales after a record year last year, brand new facility that is completely paid for. One of the best things about my company is financially responsibility, we have never had job layoffs and management boasts that we are recession proof – which I am definitely grateful for.
But these guys had the audacity to have over half of the weaknesses be related to new/inexperienced staff or staff instability/retention. The instability and retention falls 100% on management for not being as flexible as they can be or just their general outlook on management. New staff is actually a great opportunity to teach and make people want to work here. Our new staff is part of the reason we have had record years in sales! Not one person listed new staff as an opportunity. It just pisses me off that this is the outlook that they have, while i’m not necessarily surprised it is definitely disappointing to say the least. If they had just a slightly different perspective things would be so much better.
