My company is moving buildings and because management is newish they asked during our meeting today that if we have suggestions for the move that they'd love to hear it as us workers are the ones that truly know the factory. They mentioned that they will be getting a shipping container to hold our jigs that we use for welding. My dream job is in the shipping container industry and I have had experience in modification and devanning. So I had questions, and I really want to learn as much as I can about how they'll do it as I won't see it done.
I'm leaving in a week due to poor management with notice handed in last year. I asked if the jigs would fit in a 20ft container well. Boss said it's nothing for me to worry about as I'm leaving. They never have actually cared for our opinions. Only the opinions of the 3 people who have worked there the longest. I'm the next most experienced after those 3 but the boss even said to my face that she only really needs info from the 3 older guys. Even though she keeps advertising to everyone that we all get to have input.
Fuck them, I'm so ready for next week
