So I’m (19f) a manager at a fast food place (won’t drop the name) and today I was scheduled 8am-1pm, cool 5 hour shift whatever, so I get there and im working and my manager tells me that she probably has to send me home early due to sales being too low and I told her that I wasn’t interested in leaving early because im saving money to move (and I’ve heard before that they can’t force you to lose hours if they scheduled them to you) she then told me that if I wasn’t going to leave right now that I would instead HAVE to stay and work until 2:30, (which was weird anyways because I thought you were trying to save money) and gave me no other options. I’m just wondering if this is okay? Like can she force me to stay and work an extra hour and a half? (it’s not a big deal but I want to know my rights for next time)
