By the way I’m in the UK, where notices are like written in the contract and stuff. On their website it says you can either email HR or give written 1 week notice, so I emailed then just kind of didn’t tell anyone at work, assuming HR would. But apparently they haven’t gotten around to it despite it being over a week since I sent it, which isn’t my fault, which I told my manager, but she was like your notice starts now because you’ve only just told me on the last day, so what do I do?
