My manager is one of these people I want to smack very hard. Every single time I'm on the phone she speaks to me to tell me what I need to say. The thing is, I can't concentrate like this and I start saying incoherrent shit because I forgot what I was saying. It's like I'm responding to the prospect's questions and she says “…And this is why we are xxxx..be more direct…” or “Come on come on be quick”. The thing is, an interested client overhead her yesterday and immediately told me he feels he can't do business with us, because she said “Quick quick so we can make more calls and get more money”. And the job is about selling a software not making more calls.
So I told her to stop doing this and her response:
“You need to adapt because you are not a kid anymore”.
