Tomorrow I have a doctor appointment and I put in a time off request a few weeks ago but my manager didn’t approve nor deny it. He also didn’t respond to a time off request for one day in July that I placed last week. Calls and emails have also gone unanswered. I feel like I’m being ghosted.
At this point I plan on going to my appointment as planned even if my manager still doesn’t approve it. I’ll try to remember to ask my doctor for a note. My doctor’s office might charge a no show fee if I cancel at the last minute. Appointments usually take less than a hour and if push comes to shove, I could go back to work but it’s 20 miles away.
