So my schedule came out a couple of weeks ago and saw I had a few days off so me and my partner made plans to go to a different city. Today I get a text asking me to come in for a shift tomorrow from my manager and before I can even respond she has put me in the schedule for that shift. I apologise and tell her I’m out of town for a couple of days. She hasn’t responded and I can’t help but feel I’ll get in trouble for not showing up for tomorrows shift but her not scheduling me in advance is her problem not mine.
