Manager wants my education history for his bosses Visa renewal. How do I deal with this? I have never said I graduated, but I have said I attended x school on my resume 10 years ago (I dropped out)

I have never had a job ask me to provide this information before, but since it will be verified by immigration I assume I can't lie. I am currently planning on ignoring the request altogether and then dealing with confrontation if it happens. Any better advice than this?
