Quick anectdote that happen recently. I work in production at the entrance of my area we have a massive shelf for storing our belongings. One of the managers took it cause seeing our stuff was appereantly such an eyesore.
When we ask him where can we put our stuff he look us straigth in the eyeas and said just put it in your desk or in your office like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
Me and my coworkers had to slowly explain him that no one in our areea has their own desk let alone an office. He put our shelf back the next day
