Why when I call to make a Appointment to a counselor it go's to voice mail but when I call any other DR office like the eye Dr they pick up the phone? I even leave crazy msg saying I want to hurt myself, and they never call back and never answer the phone, but my Dr gave me this number to call, so why is it when I call any other office they pick up the phone? shouldn't a mental health place pick up the phone? I could call the back of my card right now and say I want to end myself then they would just call my DR and he would calm me down and I would be like yes I need to seek help but then I call the number and they don't pick up.
