My work is migrating from the existing mutli-factor authentication service to a new one. The new one only supports codes by phone call or via an app. They are telling us we have to have the app and MFA via phone call is backup only
I do not have a work phone, I only have my personal device. Can they make me install an app on my personal device?
I have previously avoided using any apps for work on my phone because I do not like the security requirement (e.g. no pattern locks) and required access (e.g. able to wipe phone).
