Stuff is getting so expensive in places like walmart and other chain retailers. I used to shop there because it was more affordable than buying the quality stuff from my local farmers, butchers, bakers, and small business folk, but now? I think it's cheaper to buy local at this point if you can. Stick it to the corporations and their greed. If they keep raising prices on food and goods the locals are gonna beat their prices.
I understand not everyone has the luxury of local businesses to support. If you can though, thats one less customer to the corporations.
It's almost like they made the American people dependent on them over the last few decades with low prices. Now though, it seems their greed is getting the best of them and people don't want to spend $13 on aluminium foil, and $7 on bread.
