Might not get a job

So for context I just finished my masters degree in Cybersecurity in December, I'm regretting the time spent because it seems like I won't be getting a job in that area any time soon, but that's not the point of this post. I have applied to well over 150 jobs since December and mostly either ghosted or rejected. I don't have experience in Cybersecurity, just IT tech support. One of my jobs was working for Verizon in the Fios tech support call center. I hated that job, the managers were fine, the other people on the phones were generally good people, but the customers were horrible. I call that job concentrated hate. I say that to everyone who asks because its the truth, there really is no point in sugarcoating it. So now to the job I'm probably not gonna get. The one interview out of all these jobs has…

So now to the job I'm probably not gonna get. The one interview out of all these jobs has come from a head hunter. I did the interview and the lady seemed to like me, I did their assessment, which I thought was BS but I really want out of a tech support role. And then I don't hear anything, until the head hunter emails me today saying the lady liked me thought I would be a good fit, except for how I described working at Verizon, and now she is worried I can't handle customers. I handled the Verizon job fine. I handled a deployment to Afghanistan just fine. But because I told the truth, because that is how I roll, I'm probably not gonna get this job. I feel that anyone who wants me to bend my morals to get the job is gonna expect me to do the same on the job. Don't ask the question if you don't want the truth. My current job is good enough that I don't really need to leave. Its doing IT tech support for a state government, with all the union benefits. I don't need the job, I just want to move to a different field.
Sorry for the rant, if its not consistent with this subreddit I will remove but I thought it was fitting.
