miserable at a high paying job

I have been at my current company for a little over 8 months and knew since the second day it was a terrible fit. I’m 24F, it’s a super small company with 10 other employees that are all 40+ year old men. I’m borderline sexually harassed multiple times a day and frequently berated by my boss (who also happens to be our HR person). Long story short I am completely miserable. The thing that’s kept me from quitting long ago is it is fairly high paying— $70k salary, $25k target commission (which I have achieved 7/8 months I’ve been here). This is fairly standard for my experience and the industry but the job market is hard right now. I started looking for a new job mid November and haven’t had much luck- only three interviews (2 screening interviews, 1 second round interviews) and have two screening interviews scheduled for this…

I started looking for a new job mid November and haven’t had much luck- only three interviews (2 screening interviews, 1 second round interviews) and have two screening interviews scheduled for this week.

I want to just quit. I have about 4.5months of expenses in savings and then an additional year of expenses that’s in investments. Any friends/ family I’ve told this to say it would be a huge mistake especially w a recession.

Do any of you have experience quitting without a backup plan?? How did it work out?
