I've been jobless for about a year and I've been trying to create my own business doing something I enjoy. I have no income yet and it seems like family and friends in my life who are miserable at their own jobs are always so fucking inquisitive about what I'm doing and then end up offering me 'advice' in the form of 'just get a job with health insurance while you figure your own business out'. Today I just got fed up with it. Like leave me the fuck alone. 1. Any job that can actually support me would be so demanding that I have no mental energy to work on my own thing after work or on my days off. and 2. I DIDN'T ASK. Like why do people think it's okay to offer unsolicited advice. It seems like the moment you don't have a job, everyone's jumping down your throat to get a job or else you're a lazy fuck who deserves nothing. Jesus fucking christ.
