Hey all – so as the title says, I feel like I have been misled going into a new job and personally, want to try and milk them for what they are worth, with minimal effort. Im not going to mention the company or anything like that, but they install fibre to peoples homes and I joined to do Tech Support, the training was all based around tech support that was customer based, which is fine, but there was no customer service training.
So, into my 2nd week out of training, taking calls and 1 of the 4 team leaders for my team (More than one TL should have been my first red flag) decided to just put me and a load of other tech members on the customer service queue with literally no training, so not only does it make us look dumb, it makes the company look even dumber.
Due to this and them not letting me know or any of the new trainees that we are essentially going to be thrown around at will and when the managers see fit, I am wanting to know if any of you guys have used a browser based call queue that you know how to *get around*. I use Amazon software called Omni and im trying to ''Be online'' but not get any calls through – call me silly for wanting to get paid and do no work, I usually wouldn't boast this life, but fuck letting another company ruin my head because of their negligence, I just wanna take what I can before Im off.
