Hi everyone I'm 22 and realized that all I care about is having a good work/life balance and just making enough money to have a decent life. I worked in consulting and hated it as I was working 60-70 hours a week and that really took a toll on my mental health. I then took an in-house position at a fortune 500 company and my coworkers are beyond overwork and I have no training and hate it here. My manager keeps calling it a “hustler” and “driver” culture while I was told the opposite in the interview process. This type of culture is why I wanted to leave my first job.
Does anyone have any recommendations for specific companies that provide both good training and work/life balance. I just want a job where I log in, know what I'm doing, and am able to leave work behind once my day is done. I know a lot of times work/life balance depends on the company so please if any of this applies to you leave some suggestions. I am very lost.
I realized that a lot of times glassdoor reviews are not accurate and recruiters are not entirely truthful about work/life balance during the interview process so I thought I would ask here.
