Mother’s Day.

How to I make my mother not mad at me for working on Mother’s Day. It’s not like I want to work holidays. It’s not like I want a to work weekends. It’s not like I was to work 12 hour shifts. I work in the service industry and we don’t have coverage so if I don’t show up to work the burden is put on me and I risk my job. It’s not as simple as just “get a new/better job.” I don’t have a license and make good money compared to anything around me. My family doesn’t understand this. My sister won’t talk to me after a big fight we had because I couldn’t go to her wedding…because I had to work. I’m sick of this.
