Hello, I worked for a small restaurant for over a year. I started as a Dishwasher but I quickly learned to do pretty much everything in the kitchen. Due to bad management and other things I decided to look for a better job as a Busser at a bigger restaurant….
I did what I had to, but it wasn't easy… because I really grew attached to my coworkers turned friends. However I do recognize that I cannot stay in one place forever and if I want to get more into the food industry I need to move on… but like I already said, it wasn't easy.
What I am trying to say is, if you think it will make your life better then take that shot. It is a bitter-sweet moment if you are like me, but it must be done.
I just hope my next job is marginally better!
TL;DR: Friendships are never easy to break, even if its job related friends.
Edit: I made it sound too dramatic, I cans till visit them, but it my schedule won't make it as easy as it should.
