This was laid as a requirement during a job interview. It's a salaried position in high tech industry. Weekend call-in is required every 3rd weekend. All this is a baseline mode of operation, in the absence of emergencies / deadlines. I suspect it gets even worse during crunch time. Still, dictating what to do before bedtime is an overreach, don't you think?
