My Benefits were Terminated Due to a System Issue (may be long, apologies!)

I am a full time employee who has worked for my company since 2016 with benefits. Open enrollment ended and in my employers health portal I show as being covered with my 2023 plan (I did upgrade to a better co-pay). I got a call from my doctors office saying I am no longer a member and that I need to get my insurance updated to continue with them, which confused me since I can SEE I have insurance. After talking to my company’s HR department, it looks like last week there was a server issue that prematurely terminated benefits for several employees and I was one of them. I was not notified and I only found out by reaching out to them myself. I do not have benefits right now, so appointments that I have scheduled this month actually are not scheduled and I need to have those reinstated…

I do not have benefits right now, so appointments that I have scheduled this month actually are not scheduled and I need to have those reinstated by my company. Currently, now I have an HR case pending where the company is going to be reinstating my benefits and said it could take 3-4 days to get started on that process. I’m not sure how long this could take but I have medication I need for a migraine condition that I can’t get affordable until this is done.

It’s very frustrating to say the least…
