I recently moved 2500 miles away or so for various reasons not relevant. I found a job through a staffing agency that had me start right away bthe job is actually ok. Not great not horrible. Pay is actually pretty good per hour compared to other jobs in same industry. Problem is all of the new employees or people from staffing agencies like myself get sent home early if there isn't enough work. I would say about 60 percent of the time I get sent home early. So I do my job while looking for other jobs. My boss called me over and said my “rate” basically a number that determines my value is pretty good for new employees but I act like I don't care. I decided fuck it let me tell him how it is. I told him I don't get enough hours to care. With out getting at least 40 hours I won't be eligible for benefits/ enough pay to care. And I said the other 20 employees or so probably feel the same way
