last tuesday (14th) i admitted myself into a psychiatric care facility and stayed there for a week, i did indeed tell my boss that i would be out for a week. i get out the following tuesday and i get a call from her asking why i’m not at work, i told her i got out tuesday and was not coming in and i have a doctors note stating i will be returning to work on saturday (26th). she chose to ignore my doctors note and had me come in the following day on wednesday and as of right now she’s still ignoring it. it was extremely overwhelming as the day before thanksgiving and everyone was doing their last minute shopping. i also have a follow up appointment that she was not willing to let me go to because it would be in the middle of my shift. so today i quit. i feel as if this is valid. my job is already very stress inducing as it is.
