At first, I didn’t care that she was behind on our hourly pay because I was making tips but lately, everyone is paying with a card so I never received cash and there’s never enough in the register to get our tips at the end of the night. I only work about 15 hours a week so she owes me around $700 and some of the other staff up to $3500 because it’s their full-time job and they’ve been working some insane overtime. Yesterday, she texted me, asking me to work the night but I’d “be by myself” knowing full well that she hasn’t paid any of us. A lot of people have quit because they are going back to school or have gotten other jobs. I’m expected to work tomorrow but I definitely don’t want to work another day if I’m not being paid.
