So to make a long story short, my boss is told by the CEO to not report sales and instead pocketed money, which is in turned put into a private account and redistributed back into the company.
I work at a movie theater chain in the Mid-Central of the US. I have on numerous occasions and have personally talked to and have seen that my boss has taken money from customers but does not report it.
He is told to do this by the owner of the company. The money is taken by him, change is given to customers, but the sale is not logged into the system nor reported into the file network.
He then takes the cash and either deposits it or personally gives it the ceo who then does whatever he does with it.
The issue at hand is that my boss….is my own father. My mother also works for the company and knows about this but turns a blind eye to it.
I've started to have a falling out with my parents as I've gotten older. They don't treat me as a son, but as an employee. I can't even talk to them about anything not related to the business and I resent them and the business for that. I don't have a lot of money due to financial stress or else I would up and leave it all behind.
Now I wat to get back. I want to out them. My parents have helped me through tough times in the past, but as of the past 2 years it's felt like I'm nothing more then a tool for them to use. They praise me and then tear me apart. They can be cold blooded towards me. I'm tired.
I'm done. I hate this company that constantly disrespects me and doesn't give me my just due. I do the work of a General Manager. Train staff, oversee operations, order stock, install films, hire staff, do paperwork, run a register, clean, all of the above and then extra not paid work due to the company issues. All for $12.00 an hour and then they shit on me and don't offer anything in return.
I can't even get benefits because I don't have the main title of head manager, yet I work 30+ hours more then the general manager does.
I want to tear it all down and let it burn.
