So we all work the same position, but I'm trained and usually work the job that is in charge of the other 3 for the day. This coworker of mine sometimes leaves to go to the bathroom and is gone for like 15-20 minutes. It doesn't really bother me that much cause I don't know why he takes so long, and frankly it's none of my business. I guess some of my other co-workers complained to our manager, and he asked me to write down when he leaves and for how long and report it to him. I just told him I didn't realize there was an issue and I'd try to help, but honestly I just want to be left out of it. I really hate talking bad about other people, and I hate when people try to get me to do it. Plus I'm friends with this guy; I don't want to make his life any harder or potentially do something that could embarrass him or make him think less of me.
Anyway, just kinda wanted to rant about this situation. I like my boss, but seriously, I'm not doing this for you.
