This 5'5 100lb 30 year old in my office became office manager (consulting firm) 6 months ago. As the Admin Assistant it is my unhappy job to work with him (or for him, as he sees it). He frequently rages out about things, and can't just have a simple discussion. His displeasure with the way I formulate a document, or the fact that I can't find someone to pick up recycling (???) will result in him getting red in the face and yelling at me. He has also caused rifts in other professional relationships, and we even had a contractor refuse to work with him.
I would get out of here if I could, but the job market is so slow right now. Meanwhile, I dread coming to work. What should I do?
I'm in Canada if that helps, and also he has been here for 2 years, and I have been here 8 months.
