My boss is an absolute horror. Every day he comes in and decides to “check” the food that's been cooked by the chefs, despite having zero culinary experience. Not content to simply taste a spoonful or two, he insists on dumping the entire bowl of soup or plating up the entire dish. Then he adds his own “seasoning” to the point of making it inedible.
It's so disheartening because the customers have no idea that the dish they ordered was ruined by my boss and now they've paid for it. I just want to tell them what really happened but there's nothing I can do about it!
Has anyone else ever had to deal with a boss like mine? What did you do about it?
