my boss who is of the same ethnicity has suggested several times that the only reason I was hired was due to the “diversity quota”. he has also pointed out several times that if I do “anything bad” it’ll reflect on him since he “fought to hire me”.

Furthermore he also makes me feel that he's taken me out of the gutter for this job. He conveniently forgets that I uprooted my whole life and moved half way across the country. Not sure how to feel about this. Is this some kind of a superiority complex or am I reading too much into it.
