Title cut and dry. My boss just won i quit. Today was the last straw. I was makeing 11.25 an hour but as we all know that is not enough. I was a cashieer at my place of work a place that “prides itself on giveing back to the comunity” aplace that gives “hand ups not hand outs”. All the abuse from customers combined with the fake ass support for their workers and in particular me. I know they wanted me gone. I wanted them to fire me but a close family friend died and i was told i could only have 2 days off and was also told the same would apply if my mom were to die. I went into work that day and told everyone working that i wouldnt be in for the rest of the week because my mental health is more important. Come today boss says i never said that and that she's giveing me a final warning. I borderline went off on her and quit because i was given no other choice.
