I (42 non binary) work at a local library and yesterday I brought my speaker to work so I could enjoy some tunes. Only a couple minutes in to my dubstep listening session my boss told me to turn it off immediately. I tried to explain that my job of wiping down bookshelves is very stressful and my music helps me cope, but my boss wasn’t hearing any of it. Honestly I don’t know if I can take being a wage slave much longer.
