I architected & built their system, I'm the person both engineers and management alike to go to with bugs, issues, complaints, questions and so on/so forth. Yet according to my boss I'm “just another senior engineer”. (They're even hiring a new Tech Lead because we apparently don't have one.) Yet I'm the only one who has to work OT, the only one who has vacations declined (etc) out of all of the engineers…
Will be interesting to see who finds a match first, them with their new tech lead or me with a new position =)
…in other words they're about to run a successful product into the ground by refusing to value the feedback and effort put into it by their employees.
