Hello everyone,
I am a healthcare professional and recently a colleague from another department has been pressuring me to see one patient every 8 minutes and complete a detailed form for each patient.
Although this colleague is not my boss, they have been insisting that I follow this protocol and have even gone as far as monitoring my progress and reprimanding me for not meeting their expectations. I find it difficult to provide quality care to my patients in such a short time frame, especially while trying to fill out a comprehensive form.
I am concerned that this may not be in the best interest of my patients and could lead to errors or missed details. I have spoken to my colleague about my concerns, but they are adamant that this is the standard protocol and that I need to meet this expectation.
I would greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to approach this matter and whether it is reasonable for me to be expected to see one patient every 8 minutes and complete a full form.
Thank you.
