They are wanting to set the return to office for May 1st and in the same email said we are no longer requiring people to show proof of vaccination or wear masks “as long as they test positive” like these fucking idiots are doing that unless they feel sick. I told my manager that I'm not dying for this company so either I can have the option to work from home or unvaccinated people need to wear masks so I know who not associate in close proximity to. She asked me if I was willing to submit my resignation if it came down to it and I said yes but I'm so worried. Please don't call my bluff, I like where I work. I'm an amazing candidate, so finding another job wouldn't be difficult but other than this particular situation my overall satisfaction with my job is relatively high. I've had multiple meetings with our CEO and head of HR and they just brush it off “we have a culture here that we're trying to protect”
