A girl at my job was looking for more hours, so she asked if she could pick up my shift for Wednesday (tomorrow). I agreed, because I am extremely burnt out. I work two jobs and recently did multiple 14 hour days in a row. That was on Friday. We told a manager, and she said she would put the swap in the books.
Then I get a text yesterday “hey girl, they realized if I cover your shift, I’ll go into overtime, so I can’t do it anymore?”
Is it irrational for me to be pissed off? They let me think for days that I would have that day off. And then they’re like “jk you have to come in.” I’m pissed.
