My employer backdated my notice by 2 weeks, to the day I was taken to hospital, which allowed them to not have to give me 2 weeks sick pay ️

It’s appears they were allowed to do this as I failed to turn up for work for two weeks and couldn’t give notice due to being in a coma. It was the last thing on my partners mind whilst I lay dying in ICU to phone my boss and let them know I wouldn’t be in Monday 🤦‍️
