My employer does not allow lunch breaks no matter the length of shift. What do I do about this?

I work in the service industry and the majority of my shifts are 8 hours in length. 100% of my shifts are longer than 5 hours. This bothers me because I know that in California, employers are required by law to enforce 30 minute unpaid breaks for shifts longer than 5 hours. I’ve been thinking about taking legal action but I’m not sure where to start. Any advice/ideas would be appreciated. Also, I’ve been working this job for a year and a half (and only recently became not ignorant to workplace laws lol)
