My friend is getting a pay cut in PA due to changes the company is making to the policies. Anything they can do?

The company has an attendance bonus (2.50 per hour) in addition to the hourly wage. They are removing this bonus. My friend regularly (if not always) received this bonus and the options provided to them are less than what their salary is with the bonus, although it is an increase to the base salary itself.
