My friend of 11 years died today because of worker abuse and wage slave culture.

I’m gonna try and keep this simple and concise because I am near inconsolable. My friend worked for King Soopers aka Kroger for over a decade. He injured his neck on the job. Kroger fought him tooth and nail to keep him on. He continued working, worsening his neck injury. He eventually needed surgery. While waiting for surgery, his workman’s comp fight began. Kroger broke the law several times sending people to talk to him in inappropriate places and evading him. He gets surgery. He is still in tremendous pain and told he may need another. Kroger tries every angle possible to evade, including intimidation. He is also jacked around by insurance. He is prescribed opiates for the pain while awaiting a second surgery. He accidentally passes away. Overdosing on medication given to him legally for an injury that shouldn’t have progressed the way it did. He was not a…
