I was supposed to be paid after two weeks but just got paid today on my 32nd day of working there.
I do have wifi but I can't call them with that and I really haven't had money to make it back and forth because they haven't paid me.
I was supposed to get my first paycheck two weeks in but the hiring manager didn't enter in any of my information which I found out because I didn't get anything. I had to talk to the regional manager and found out he also didn't put in my hours for my first week which he fixed for me.
I could have made it to work to be completely honest but why would I if I can't even get paid/can't even confirm I will? So I can use all my spare change and hope I have enough money to make it home after? (Sorry but I'm a little salty)
I used Snapchat and messaged another employee and he told them I wouldn't be able to come in for me. They put me down as a no call no show because they didn't have a reason for me being absent. They other employee did tell them I wouldn't be there though.
I got the no call no show yesterday, only noticed it when I looked at the schedule, nobody talked to me about it.
They finally paid me today which is my 32nd day since I started. I'm mostly just worried about what happens if they decide to fire me because I didn't have gas money to get to work because they didn't pay me.
Is there anything I can do in this situation if they discipline me for this?
(And just to clarify they didn't hold the first check, I just received my first check that everyone else got a while ago.)
