Hey everyone.
I just started a new job at a security guard company. I was hired part time which is what I requested as I'm going to school. However, I'm currently scheduled over 50 hours this week and the next.
My supervisor is ignoring my calls and I'm just wondering if I have any options besides simply quitting. Also are there any laws in the US about calling employees when they are off the clock? I ask because my supervisor texted me at 10:00 last night and got onto me this morning for not calling him when he “told me to.”
