My job is extremely toxic, filled with micromanaging, narcissism, and bullying by leadership. I’ve been there 6 months and they’ve given me 2 peoples jobs on top of my own after they were fired or quit, with no raise or barely even a thank you. I’ve been trying to find another job but something weird is happening now I’m curious about.
My supervisor just left and they were the only one who had my back. So now it’s going to be untenable. Anyway, leadership told me that they’ve been searching for a contractor to write emails and articles (a huge chunk of my original job responsibilities) because they say I’m not fully understanding their “voice” yet. Even though every time I write something, it goes through multiple layers of approval and barely has feedback. I feel like they’re trying to get rid of me behind my back. And they were also hiring someone to be “above” my supervisor in secret but it’s possible they were trying to fire one of us. The company lacks transparency and I don’t trust them at all.
Whatever. This feels weird tho. Any thoughts? Hoping a new job pulls through soon, and I am happy to be fired and collect unemployment.
