This is kind of a vent and discussion post. My job is definitely toxic, but the hours are good for me, and the pay is decent, plus I struggled to find a job after relocating. It’s sad that at this time, I definitely feel like I won’t find anything much better. The toxic things are that there is a lot of drama, every person talking shit about another person daily for small things, the owner talking shit about employees in front of other employees, send us messages about the office on nights and weekends, they change the policy or rules for everything at work every week, they set truly impossible standards, and then blame us for the work not getting done on time, and then on top of it tell us they’re not asking for much and it’s not hard, all with a big passive aggressive smile throughout everything, with the attitude that “we’re nice, we’re laid back, we’re cool managers, you all are so lucky to be here!”
