Me and another got 1.5% “raises”, and clearly day shift isn't liking it because one of them is leaving.
Like what do you expect? You give us essentially pay cuts, to work 48 hour weeks (with a month of 80 hr weeks …). Then tell us to work more overtime for 2/3 our pay to “make up for it…” When we already work on the lower end of the spectrum for our field.
I'm proud that my generation isn't putting up with this shit lmao. We have knowledge of the plant, we know we can make more money else where with little time invested in searching. The only reason I'm not leaving asap is because I'm getting my certs in order before leaving in 3-4 months.
Gone are the days of company loyalty I suppose, which is problematic for when your plant relies on experienced people.
